The Goodwin Books

Dear Friends,

I am honored to have the privilege of bringing to you the four books on spiritual gifts that were written by Mom and Dad Goodwin.  Many people have asked me when or if these books that were last printed in 1974 would ever be available again.  In these books, we are given a written outline of how the Goodwins taught on the subject of spiritual gifts drawn from Scripture and from their personal experiences with the Spirit of God.

I wish to note that these books were originally edited by Sister Billye Brim, and as you will see, she did so with excellence.

I extend also a very great "Thank You" to Rev. Doug Bonner for scanning these books for me.

The series consists of the following four books and should be read in this order:

My friends, realize that these are not the kind of "quick read" books that you zip through.  Nor are they books written by novices, giving speculations and theories.  These were written by two Christian leaders, remarkably advanced in the operation of spiritual gifts.  In these small volumes, they are sharing with you truths they learned over a lifetime of ministering in all nine gifts of the Spirit.

You would profit greatly if you would read a chapter or two in each book, then pray and meditate on what you learned for a day or two before reading more.  Although these books were given to me by Sister Goodwin in 1984, I noticed this time as I was uploading them to the site and proofreading them, that I found comments and truths that I had never noticed before.  Such is a hallmark of a Christian classic--it just keeps feeding you and feeding you over the years.

May these books bless you as much as they have blessed those of us who knew the Goodwins.

     Kind Regards,

     Brother Mel
