A Good Report: Our computer failed a few days ago. It is such an integral component of what we do. Through it, I write teaching articles, edit the website, edit and upload recordings, and respond to many enquires by e-mail. When this ministry has a need, I usually just pay the expense out of my own pocket. But this time I decided to make you aware of the need and invite interested believers to give towards purchasing a replacement computer. I am happy to report that in just a matter of days, donations came in amounting to a little over $700.00. Our goal is $1,100.00 for a computer package that includes appropriate software and the necessary shipping charges. I realize that sometimes it takes people several days to get an offering sent in, and other times they intend to do so, but forget. So for those of you who have a giving heart towards the vision of this ministry, I am holding open for a few more days this opportunity to give. Holy Ghost Meetings Friday November 14 Time: 7:30 pm Collinsville (Tulsa), OK | Everyone: I had a wonderful time at Sister Elizabeth Pruitt-Sloan's Holy Ghost meetings in October. I always come as a guest, to support the meetings of my friend, with no plans to minister, but the Lord usually gives me something to contribute. In the October meeting, Sister Elizabeth taught on the Holy Spirit's gift of the Working of Miracles. She gave a number of examples of creative miracles that occurred in her ministry over the years. During her sermon, I spoke out two messages in tongues and interpreted them. One message in tongues came as Sister Elizabeth listed from the Old Testament the incidents of the parting of the Red Sea, the Jews walking across on dry land, and the cruse of oil not failing as examples of the Working of Miracles. As she finished this thought, the Holy Spirit came upon me and I spoke a message in tongues and the interpretation was: "Look not on these miracles only from the outside, but look at them from the inside also. For when I parted the Red Sea and the Jews walked across on dry land, I was revealing Myself to them as their Deliverer. And when the cruse of oil did not fail, I was revealing Myself to them as their Provider."
These were thoughts I had never heard preached before, nor had I ever thought on them. The Lord bore witness to His word with signs following by manifesting tongues and interpretation, and our knowledge was increased by the teaching of the Word and by the flowing of the Spirit. Other spiritual gifts manifested through Sister Elizabeth later. In my opinion, one of Tulsa's best kept secrets is Sister Elizabeth Pruitt-Sloan's Holy Ghost meetings which she holds the second Friday evening of every month. The music, teaching, and fellowship are great blessings to all who attend. I never miss these meetings if my schedule allows me to come. I hope to attend the upcoming one on November 14th. It is beyond my understanding as to why the crowds are usually small, but in a way I'm glad, because it gives the opportunity for personal ministry and for spiritual operations that are not always possible in the big meetings. Sister Elizabeth Pruitt-Sloan grew up attending Aimee Semple McPherson's church, graduated from Rhema's first graduating class, travelled and ministered with Billye Brim for years, knew the Goodwins and Brother Hagin well, and is very developed in the things of the Spirit. She preaches sound messages and allows the Holy Spirit to flow. God has met my need in a tremendous way in these meetings, and I believe He will meet yours also. | Dear Ministry Friends and Partners, This November issue of our monthly newsletter will be an abbreviated one due to delays caused by the failure of our computer, the time involved in replacing it, and the upcoming Thanksgiving holidays.
