Prophecy "A Time of Correction" August 14, 2007 "For, 'What is the Time?,' so many are asking. What is the mind and the purpose of the Lord for this day and for this hour? For I alone set the times and the seasons. I set the limits and the boundaries. It is I that speak to the tides and to the orbits of the planets around the sun saying, 'Thus far shalt thou go, and no further.' And so speak I also into the plans and affairs of men. And I have spoken and declared a Time of Correction. It is a time of correction of people and their motives. For too many have forsaken My way and My specific plan for their lives and have substituted their own fleshly ways and plans instead. It is a time of correction of teaching and doctrine. For too many have exceeded the boundaries of My word, thinking they were exhorting people and bringing Me glory by doing so. But I would say, look to the example of King Saul of old, who disobeyed Me thinking to substitute his plan for My plan, and I rejected both him and his plan saying through my servant, "to obey is better than sacrifice. . . " Some lie close to being rejected by Me, disqualified from ministry, and coming to be with Me ahead of their appointed time for deviating too far and too consistently from what I have called them to do and teach. Therefore, I counsel you to repent and to return to the teachings and assignment I have given you lest you stumble and not be able to rise again. Some also have erred in their direction and approaches, and I am calling them to accept My correction. You can not choose your direction and your plan. For I have called you to take up your cross and follow me--not throw down your cross and go your own way. Again I would say to you also to study my servant Saul and see that though I am of long suffering and of tender mercy, yet I require you to walk the way and in the direction that I have ordained for you lest by choosing your own way you end up being a castaway. Cast away--in the same sense that a potter casts away a vessel he is molding, and he then begins with a new lump and molds that new lump into the vessel that the first lump did not conform to being. All creation is mine, and I am working a work that no man can stop. Shall I change My work and conform to you, when you know not where you are going? Or will you conform your ways to Me so that I can use you in great things you know not of? So humble yourselves and receive my correction. Enter ye into this time of correction that I have appointed. Know that all I say and all that I purpose shall surely come to pass. Yea, in My eyes, all of My plan is already done for I have ordained it from ages past. The only part that remains to be determined is the degree of obedience and humility you will contribute to the fulfilling of My plan. So yield to Me fully and completely. Receive My correction and take it deeply into your spirit. Look past the fleeting temptations of the moment and the flatteries and attentions of men. And instead, look forward to That Day when you stand before Me and I give you that eternal glory and eternal reward that I give only to those who fully obey Me."
In the above prophecy, when the Lord spoke through me about being "rejected," and "disqualified," or becoming a "castaway," this refers to persistent error and disobedience causing a minister to lose his ministry, not to a person losing their eternal salvation. Brother Mel
Responses Before releasing it to the public, I submitted the prophecy to several seasoned ministers and asked them to judge it. All agreed it was of the Lord. Here are a few of their responses:
From a nationally known prophet:

From a pastor in the US:
This is a word from the Lord in fact it is confirmation to a message I taught on last night . . . entitled "why kings and kingdoms fall. The prophesy fits with the word of the Lord I agonized with delivering last night. I will take this prophecy to my people on Sunday and share it. . . post this on the web. It is God."
From a Pentecostal Historian and minister:
"Thank you for sharing this Word from the Lord. Honestly, it is one of the most direct and powerful prophetic words I have heard for the Body of Christ at large in a long time. This Word from the Lord has "struck home" in my heart, and I pray it "strikes home" in the hearts of all who read it.
From a Healing Evangelist and Teacher:
"Oh, yes, this is what I have been hearing and studying about as well. When I read this, it brings confirmation to my spirit. I got down on my knees and said, Lord, set the limits and bounds as to what I am to teach, heal me and I shall be healed, correct me, and I shall be corrected. Lord, if I am erring in my teaching, correct me, lest I cause others to err and stumble. Lord, I humble myself to You, so You will not have to humble me. Lord, let my works be according to Your plan . . . "
Finally from a minister in Europe:
"It is certainly in line with what the Word of God shows clearly and what I believe God is saying in this hour. For the past 4 weeks our theme in the School has been, Christ, the Blood, the cross, the Word, Holiness, a crucified life etc. What has this produced? CHANGED LIVES. Sad to say that these are the very truths which have been set aside. Brother keep preaching, keep prophesying. When are we (the Preachers) going to get past the fear of being called legalistic, old fashioned, out of date, old testament etc? When truth is emphasized true gifts operate. When truth falls by the way then false gifts are manufactured. Todays church is an utter contradiction of the lives I am writing about. They were not only powerful miracle working men but also wholly righteous men. Horton sad that the only adorning of calvary's tree allowed by God is the 9 supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit. For all 9 supernatural gifts will confirm the Gospel and point to Christ."
