Recording Description:

This recording begins with Dad interpreting a message in tongues from the congregation.  Then came a prophecy.  Next, Mom begins the rest of the service by giving a scorching rebuke of various things she is seeing in the world.  She makes the point that all Christians, but especially those in leadership, need to be living examples of true Christ-likeness.

Brother Goodwin follows her exhortion by obeying Psalms 37:30:

"The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment."   He warns the congregation of the coming judgment on sin.

Brother Goodwin continues by warning of the dire consequences of walking in disobedience.

He tells also the story of a couple who were leaders in the Goodwins' church, and how he and Sister Goodwin went to the couple's home and rebuked them over a matter, telling them that an affilction would come on their daughter as a consequence of their disobedience.  The couple were stunned by this pronouncement, acknowledging that a serious  condition had already come on their little girl who was sleeping in the next room.  This couple repented.  Then they called the little girl in from her room, and they and the Goodwins all prayed for her.  And she was instantly healed.  She is still healed some 40 years later.  I have spoken with her.

This is an excellent exhortation of the benefits of righteousness and the consequences of disobedience.
